In association with West Track Studios in Canterbury, BenMillsOnline is going to be giving ONE LUCKY WINNER the opportunity to record a duet with Ben Mills.
Up for grabs is a 3 hour studio session, during which our lucky winner will get to choose a song and be recorded singing it alongside Ben Mills. Then at the end of that session, he or she will be able to take a copy of that recording away with them on CD, as a lasting memento of what we're sure will be an amazing day. How fantastic is that?!
So, how does it all work?
Well, although the prize is the chance to sing a duet with Ben, this isn't a talent contest by any stretch of the imagination. It's more about Ben's fans, and a chance for him to give something back as a thank you for all the support they've shown him. So, whether you sing because you're good at it, or simply because it makes you feel good, it doesn't matter. As long as you enjoying singing, and would love the chance to do just that with Ben singing right alongside you, then this competition is the one you've been waiting for....
Competition Notice
The competition will run from now (Sunday 25th April 2010) until midnight on Saturday 31st July 2010, and all entrants must adhere to the following terms:
- Entrants must provide their full name and a valid email address and contact number. Any 'spoilt' entries will be discarded.
- All entries must be submitted before the closing date, and no entries will be accepted after this time. One entry per person.
- The winner will be notified no later than Friday 27th August 2010 and must respond no later than Tuesday 31st August 2010 in order to claim their prize. In the event that the elected winner does not respond in time, the prize will be awarded to the second placed person.
- The prize is non-transferable and will be awarded only to the person named on the winning entry form.
- Due to Ben's busy schedule, and that of West Track Studios, we have had to pre-arrange the date and time for the recording session. That date is Thursday 23rd September 2010 at 12pm. The winner MUST be available to attend on that date and have the means to get there - the prize DOES NOT include transportation to the studio or accommodation.
- The winner may bring along one family member or friend for support. Should the winner be 16 or under, the accompanying family member or friend MUST be over the age of 18.
West Track Studios
West Track Studios is a purpose built recording, rehearsal and multimedia facility situated in St Dunstans, in the centre of historic Canterbury.
The studios were set up by Skillnet Group Community Interest Company, a social enterprise supporting people with and without learning difficulties/disabilities to work together to make differences.
The studios are open for the whole community and hired out to local community groups, organisations, musicians and artists.
It is fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs and meets Disability Discrimination Act requirements.
The studios are part of a small community hub that is aiming to become a completely sustainable, carbon-neutral centre of excellence around environmental/green issues.
